379. Who Was Riva Kreplach?

January 1, 2024

Q. Wondering if you might know whose pseudonym was Riva Kreplach (specifically the author of the Mighty Minerva piece in the 1971 Women issue)?  Couldn’t find anything online, and I was hoping you’d know.

A. I’m afraid I don’t know. But it does sort of ring a bell, like maybe I had read who it was somewhere and have forgotten. I’m thinking Michael O’Donoghue or maybe George Trow? Again, I don’t know, or can’t remember if I did know. Maybe I’m imagining it.

If someone out there is less confused about this question than me, please leave a comment here.
