402. The Kitchens of Sara Lee

October 12, 2025

Q. Long ago, in the ’70s, I saw a full page full color thing in the National Lampoon that depicted the Sara Lee bakery with a poster on the wall that said “NOBODY DOESN’T LIKE SARA LEE AND THIS MEANS YOU.” Can you find it?

A. I know exactly what you’re referring to. It was a two-page spread by Bruce McCall, “The Kitchens of Sara Lee” from the November 1975 (“Work”) issue.
