127. Mrs. Claus Cartoon from Early ’80s

December 1, 2008

Q: I remember a cartoon from the early ’80s of Mrs. Claus on all fours with a whole gaggle of elves gettin’ ready to help her pass the time without the hubby around. “For this is the night that MRS. Claus comes, too.” Which issue was this in? Any on-line copy of said cartoon?

A: Carol says: “Definitely the Surprise Poster from the December ’82 (E.T.) issue.” Thanks, Carol!

That's probably the Surprise Poster from the December 82 "ET Issue". It has that scene and a verse ending with the line you quoted. Mrs S isn't on all fours tho'. Maybe you're confusing it with the "Strawberry Cheesecake" poster from September of that year? That one had a doll in that position, being serviced by a Smurf.

This question still doesn't have a green number to show it's been answered. So I'd like to go on record as saying it is DEFINITELY the Surprise Poster from Dec 82. Does anyone dare doubt my word?
