255. “Joe and His Dead Friend” Comic Strip

November 22, 2010

Q: There was a comic strip series about a guy and his dead friend—Joe I think? That was the best. What was the name of the artist and do you know where I can go to see the entire series?

A: Steve found it: “Ray and Joe—The Story of a Man and his Dead Friend,” by Rodriguez in the Jan. 1984 (Time Parody) issue, p. 82. Thanks, Steve!

Comments

It was a Charles Rodrigues comic. It ran in the first half of the 80s I think and it was really funny!

Thanks. I guess that's a little closer. At least we now know who the artist was and roughly when it ran.
