55. “The Rigging of a Ship”

November 5, 2003

Q: I’d like to find the issue that had a piece called “The Rigging of a Ship”. It was early ’70s – that much I’m sure of.

A: That appeared in The National Lampoon Encyclopedia of Humor, 1973.

Inspired by this site's new "Answers" page, I rushed that one to the NL website. http://www.nationallampoon.com/nl/02_fb/impers/rigging.html Question: Does using Flash to 'animate' an old piece detract from it? I live to serve.

It's different, but still funny. Less work for the viewer, I suppose.
